Eternity

posted by PrayerWarrior

just a little something I wrote, and wanted to share

Who would have ever thought,
I was worthy of being bought.

For me the price was paid
at His feet my sins have been laid.

My love He did urgently seek
to my heart he did fervently speak.

I heard my Shepherd when
my name he did call
and have promised to give him my all.

His life for us He did lay down
so in the end He could offer us a crown.

My name has been written in the book
Now I am assured I will not be forsook.

For eternity I will explore
the Fathers Heavenly shore.

His love is so steady and strong,
don’t you also want to belong?

Pray this prayer and you shall be,
forever a part of our eternal family.

Father, forgive my sins and set me free
give me new eyes that I may  see,
all that you have in store for me.

Let Him hold you in close proximity
forever more even unto eternity.

He has wisdom to impart
directly to your heart.

In trials and troubles praise him too
for the Lessons He has in mind for you.

Go ahead take a leap of faith
do not let your life be a waste.

It is not something that can be earned
It is something that must be learned.

A gift from Jesus to your heart
the time is now for a brand new start.

Speaking Evil Of Others In Christ

posted by PrayerWarrior

You know the world at large is so busy worrying about what everyone but themselves are doing that even good Christians are looking down their noses at other Christians. Does anyone really think that telling everyone on your email lists, and every person you work with about this so called bad Christian, or that so called bad Christian is going to win them favor with God? Do you really think that backbiting your brother or sister in Christ is going to win you favor when you stand before God? Do you actually say to yourself oh this is a bad Christian this person is not a Christian at all when you decide to write everyone on your email list about how this brother or sister said this that or the other thing? Now let me ask you,………..Are you God? Do you know for sure another’s heart? Do you know for sure that someone is not a Christian?

God knows for sure, no one else, rather that person is saved or not. We cannot, even the smartest most well read person, cannot for one minute decide if one person or another is saved. Do you recall some preachers saying we will be surprised at who is and who is not in Heaven?  Why do you think that is?  We brothers and sisters are to honor one another.  Jesus spoke of honoring one another as well as him. That means we are to Honor without question those who are above us such as our preachers, teachers, presidents, cops, whomever is an authority figure over us. We are to Honor our peers ,meaning those who are on an equal footing with us. We are to also Honor the young ones in our lives. Those who are below us such as our children, our grandchildren, students we teach. How my friends, are you, who are spreading vicious speak about a brother or sister, a preacher or teacher, or even a president we do not happen to want in office, spreading, growing, and widening the Lords Kingdom? The Lord obviously has a plan in mind, if according to us the wrong President gets into office, and like or dislike him, we must honor him.

When you stand before your Father in Heaven, will he look at you and say thanks for making the very man I chose for this Job or that position of authority look bad? No he will say shame shame on you. Will that be a reward or a blessing? No I tell you the truth it will be burned like the chaff in the fire and turn to dust and ash. You will have no excuse for it none at all.
Will God ever show honor to one who has done something wrong? No for sure he would not. We are to love our neighbor as ourself.  Would you go around telling people bad things about yourself?  Of course not,so why are you saying bad things about your brother or sister in Christ?  How do you know for sure someone is saved or not? Do you think God Needs you to go spreading lies rumors gossip or trash about a preacher, a brother, a sister, a teacher? If you say to yourself self we need to warn the world against this man woman or child, where does God come into that?    God does not enter into that thought anywhere because if you came to him with it he would tell your heart do not say a word against this person.

We must at all times watch our tongues. The very words that come out of our mouths can kill maim and hurt forever. The very words from our mouths can put us in hell. Psalm 34:13 Keep thy tongue from evil, And thy lips from speaking deceit. 1Peter 3:10 People who want to live a full life and enjoy good days must keep their tongues from saying evil things, and their lips from speaking deceitful things. Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

James 3:5-18, 5 So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things.
How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life, and set on fire by hell. 7 For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea creature, can be tamed and has been tamed by mankind, 8 but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 9 With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God. 10 From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers,  these things ought not to be so. 11 Does a spring pour forth from the same opening both fresh and salt water? 12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, bear olives, or a grapevine produce figs? Neither can a salt pond yield fresh water.

13 Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. 15 This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. 17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. 18 And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

One day we will eat our words before God, will you eat poison or fruit?  2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
2:17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
See that depart from iniquity.

Brothers and sisters in closing let me say this,as a human being I know it is not one tiny bit easy to keep our mouths shut. God never once promised being one of his own would be easy. No it is hard and full of snares the devil sets before us. We must live our lives filled with faith and God’s strength in us, around us, and on us. We must love one another first and foremost. You think you know by their fruits if someone is saved or not? Well no matter what my heart thinks I know I could be wrong always. Therefore I will now, not utter, dislike, disdain, or anything that could hurt someone. I do not say anything anymore to another person about another person that I would not say about myself. Remember these words of Paul in 2 Timothy 2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

We do not wish to be like the rest of the world who are not aliens in the world but partakers of its sinful delights, 2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. Also the verse Proverbs 23:7 that says so as a man thinks so is he? Be careful of your thoughts as well. If you begin to think bad thoughts think positive thoughts instead find something to like about that person. Find something positive about them. If we speak life over ourselves and those around us, then life will be much more abundantly joy filled.

What is my purpose?

posted by PrayerWarrior

Have you ever asked this question,”What is my purpose”? Ask it no more, the answer has been in your bible all along.
Your purpose cannot be found inside yourself for one thing. You must realize that you were purposed before the foundations of the earth were layed out. God purposed you to love you. Meaning God made you on purpose because he wanted to love you and have you love him in return.
Your job is not your purpose, nor is parenting ,though this could be a part of God’s plan for your life,it is not your purpose.

“He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to  adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.” Ephesians 1:4-6
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered….”  John 15:4-6

“In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. “  Ephesians 1:11-12
that His people would love Him most of all,This is what we are purposed for. To love Him as well as to be loved by him.
“…’you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.” Mark 12:29
“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”  John 14:15
“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” John 14:20-21
“If  you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.”  John 15:10-11

-  that we love each other as He has loved us (that means demonstrating God’s love to each other, not conforming to popular culture in order to please each other)

This is his plan for us, once we have realized our purpose now we can become part of his plan.

“…the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” John 17:22-23
“Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. To this end I labor….” Colossians  1:28, 29
“Be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.”   1 Peter 3:8-9
“You, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.  For  all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”  Galatians 5:13-14

Always be aware there are false teachers out there do not be deceived.
“…charge some that they teach no other doctrine, nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith. Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm.”  1 Timothy 1:3-7

Our purpose is not, no matter how much the world tells you,to gain all the goods of the earth, meaning we are not going to win if we have the most toys. Our purpose is not to be popular among men  we are to be as aliens among the people of earth. Not conforming to mans ways but to God’s ways.  “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.”  Colossians 3:1-4
“He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.”  2 Corinthians 5:15
We must die to self and daily pick up our cross.
“…unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also….
“Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour. Father, glorify Your name.” John 12:23-28

Once our purpose is realised we are to repent and turn from darkness to the Light
“Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.   For the promise is to you and  to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” Acts 2:38-39
that we follow Him and share His suffering.

We will suffer somethings at some time, probably not in  the far future for our belief and our love of Christ. Do not fear that, the Lord will sustain you and reward you for your endurance in the end.
“For to you  it has been granted on behalf of Christ,  not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake…”  Philippians 1:29
“For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: ‘Who committed no sin, nor was deceit found in His mouth;’ who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously.” 1 Peter 2:20-22
do not be ashamed of  the testimony of our Lord, nor of me  His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling…. For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.” 2 Timothy 1:8-12
“…the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me. But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24

And finally, “‘God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.’ Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”  1 Peter 5:5 If you do not know how to humble yourself, which honestly was my hardest point when I was not yet saved, then pray tell God you are seeking him.Matthew 7:7
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: If you seek him with all your heart he is faithful to manifest himself to you.If you knock upon His door in heart felt search, He will open the door to you. No matter your sins or transgressions He will grant you pardon and allow you entrance to His Kingdom.

“Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:  that  the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places….”   Ephesians 1:15-20

Thats right friends and brothers and sisters I am pointing my finger at YOU!!!!
God Loves you and desires a wonderful and close relationship with you no matter your religion or past beliefs. God’s purpose for creating YOU! was simply, to love you. When Jesus was on the cross taking on the sins of the world, he thought about YOU!!!!

Faith

                                 The Best Faith

To have miracles in our life first we must have faith. Such as the woman who touched Jesus robes and was healed. Mark5:25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, 26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, 27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. 29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? 31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? 32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. 33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. 34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. Her faith in just touching his clothes healed her how lovely.

In Matthew 9:29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
The importance of faith is stated for us in the book of Hebrews.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17).We have faith in something because we have heard about it. We cannot have faith without hearing.
We have read and or heard many times all of us to have faith and to believe is what faith is right? If we want something from the Lord alls we have to do is believe it with all our hearts our souls and our minds.

When we ask something of the Lord and we know the Lord is faithful we just simply must believe in his word believe in him believe he will do what we have asked and it will be done to us for us or within us. Matthew 17:20And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.Matt 15:28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Some people do not believe that the Lord is still healing people but I tell you it is not doctors nurses or any other who do the healing it is God himself. Look at Psalm 103:1-3, “Bless the Lord, O my soul,…And forget none of His benefits … Who heals all your diseases;” This scripture does not leave room for anyone, or anything, to perform healing except God. We can see from this scripture too that there isn’t any disease God doesn’t heal. Let’s be careful not to limit God. We must realize He can heal through different means.EXODUS 15:26: “And He said,…for I, the Lord, am your healer.” JAMES 1:16-17,James taught that we are deceived if we believe any good gift can come from anyone except God, and surely healing is a good gift.James 1:16-17 “Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation, or shifting shadow.”

Now I also want to point out a good way to have faith to show the Lord, you have that kind of faith he wishes to see in you, is to praise him for the miracle you are expecting. Meaning say Lord God I praise you and I thank you Father for the healing action you are even now planning. Praise him before the end of the troubles. Praise him in the midst of your Trial knowing that he will heal you and or bring you through this.Praise him for caring enough about you to allow you to go through these tests and trials. To know that he is stretching your faith and growing it in him.To know that he has better bigger plans for you and having faith in him that he will teach you how to handle what is coming in your future. Never forget Jesus knows your yesterdays todays and tomorrows all of them and he will always prepare you for what you must face and or go through.

We must not have a wavering kind of faith, meaning we cannot say one minute oh I know he will heal or do this thing for me, then the next minute saying oh he wont do this. No wishy washy belief will net your miracle. James 1:1-8 1. James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
1:3 Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

In closing I just want to say faith in it’s best form is strong belief, it needs no proof. The Dictionary says:1. belief that is not based on proof,2.   belief in God or in the doctrines or teachings,3. the trust in God and in His promises as made through Christ and the Scriptures by which humans are justified or saved. All of this says to me just believe. Believe you will have your healing, meet your financial obligations, your every need,do not waver in the belief that all of your needs will be met, and they will be met. Do not doubt for one milisecond God or his wonder working powers, and you “will” see miracles.
Mark 11:24
24Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Jn. 16:23-24 23And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
24Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
May God Bless and keep you all safe healthy and happy in His loving guiding hand.
